This is a piece of luggage that you can't go wrong with. The 28″ Osprey Sojourn is a piece of luggage that I have been using for about 2 1/2 years. I purchased this item before Rosita and I went to Italy in 2015. I used the bag on that trip, a 2 week trip to Germany, Switzerland and Italy in 2017 and around 40 domestic trips of from 1 to 5 days. The garment still looks like new. It is the only bag I have used during this time. My day job requires me to travel in my sales territory and this requires 50 to 60 nights out a year plus several personal trips a year. The garment has one large compartment to put all of my clothes. It has 1 long pocket along each side of the back to separate smaller items. It has a small compartment at the top to put shoes or dirty socks and underwear. The wheels the bag rolls very quietly and smoothly. There is a large zippered compartment where the backpack straps go. With the straps I keep a medium to large jacket. You can remove the backpack straps to store more in this compartment. This is a bag that I have come to rely on and I plan to use it for several more years.

Once you click on the link there is a black version that is Prime eligible, on sale and I think looks much better. The PacSafe CamSafe V18 is the camera bag I use when I travel other than for work. It has plenty of room for my camera, 2 lenses, and other camera accessories. It has a pocket that fits my iPad mini and has room for my 13″ MacBook Pro. The 15″ will not fit in the bag. It gives me an extra sense of security because the material in the bag and the shoulder straps are slash proof. All of the zippers have latches when they are closed and have little pockets to tuck the closed zipper & latch away. This is going to make pickpockets move on to someone else who is less prepared. The back has an enclosure with a zipper on the top and the bottom. Open both and it slides over the handle of your luggage. It works great with my Osprey Sojourn when maneuvering through airports, translations, hotels and etc. Close both when using separately form the suitcase to have an extra pocket. It has a front pocket where I keep extra camera batteries, extra memory cards, my phone and wallet if I want a little extra security for them. It also has a small pocket in the front pocket that is RFID protected for credit cards. In the main compartment there is a space beside the camera case where I keep external phone chargers, reg phone chargers and other small things that I want to keep handy while traveling. Overall this is a bag I have grown to love when I am traveling with my camera, iPad mini and my MacBook Pro.

This is a wallet I just purchased. It has not arrived yet, but I am excited about receiving it. This is more than I usually pay for a wallet but I decided to give myself a Father's Day present! The wallet I have used for the past 3 years is made of cloth and is starting to show a lot of wear. This wallet is made similar to the one I have but it will be major upgrade in material. I wanted an RFID blocking wallet and this one has that. I recently had my credit card information stolen. I received a call from the fraud department for American Express. My credit card had been used a couple of times that day and I had only recently left the house. I am the only user of the card and it had not been out of my possession. Someone either scanned my card while it was in my wallet or someone copied the information while I was paying a restaurant bill. I suspect the latter since I have 4 credit cards in my wallet and this was the only one that has been compromised. I want to do all I can to protect myself.

I have a similar coin tray that I picked up while I was in Florence Italy. I bought it from one of the many street vendors in that city. It has really come in handy and I use it mostly when I travel. It is a great place to put my keys, room card, wallet and coins. Usually you have something more permanent that you use at home. This one unsnaps so that it will lay flat in a suitcase and not take up any room. If you get a different one and want to use it for travel make sure you get one that will snap together. Some on Amazon will be riveted together and not come apart. The ones with snaps will make it much easier to pack it in your luggage.

I have a travel scale that is very similar to this one. With the weight limits now on checked luggage I feel it is a necessity. I purchased one because when we travel, we always buy souvenirs, things we see we have to have and gifts for the grandkids. Now we no longer have to hold our breath at the airport when returning home, hoping that we didn't go over the weight limit. This scale is very small and will fit in a small pocket of your luggage. Just remember to turn it off when you finish. I will have to replace the battery before tour next trip.

This is an item I have had my eye on. Rosita gave me one that is made similar to this hanging toiletry bag, It still works great after several years so I can't justify getting a new one just yet. But this one does look much better than mine. Don't tell Rosita! You can hang it up in your hotel room or just roll it out on the counter, like I do most of the time. This one looks good and I'm sure Dad will love it.

Personally for my camera and electronic bag I prefer a sling type of bag, like my Pacsafe Camsafe bag that you see above. Many people prefer a backpack for these items. I looked through camera backpacks on Amazon and found one I would like to have if I were to have a need for a backpack. The feature I like about this one is that it has plenty of room for additional camera accessories such as extra lenses or bodies. Overall I believe this bag will have a good bit more room than my Sling bag. It has adjustable inside compartments and outside pockets including a padded one for your laptop, making it a good choice for a Father's Day Present.
