Travel Products

The Holiday Season is fast approaching. So you will be looking for gifts for business travelers in your life. As a former Amazon seller I know that Amazon pushes their 3rd party sellers to offer their best deals during this time of the year. Below I have reviewed several items that Rosita and I use when we travel. You can buy gifts for frequent travelers that we own and use. And we use all of these items and feel comfortable in recommending them as travel presents for you. And I have items at several different price points so you can find a valuable travel gift at whatever cost you feel comfortable with. Each of these items are linked for your convenience through Amazon. And if you have any questions about any of these items feel free to drop me a note in the comments section or you can email me at joe@travelingonmyagenda.com.

Also Amazon has some free and lower cost trials for some of their services such as Prime, Audible, Kindle and others. Read below for more information on these introductory prices for these great programs. I have noted in the description which of these we have tried.

Osprey Packs Sojourn Wheeled Luggage, Flash Black, 80 L/28″

This is a piece of luggage that you can’t go wrong with. I purchased the 28″ Osprey Sojourn before Rosita and I went to Italy in 2015. It is the only bag I have used since then for all of my foreign and domestic travel. It has one large compartment that fits all of my clothes and 1 long pocket along each side of to store smaller items. And a small compartment at the top holds shoes or dirty socks and underwear. There is a large zippered compartment for the backpack straps and and has room for a large jacket. And you can remove the backpack straps to store more in this compartment. Also the wheels on the bag roll very quietly and smoothly. This is a bag that I have come to rely on and I plan to use it for several more years.

High Sierra 57020-1041 AT7 Wheeled Duffel with Backpack Straps, Black, 32-Inch

The Samsonite High Sierra Rolling Backpack is Rosita’s bag of choice. It is carry on size with rolling wheels and backpack straps. The bag has 1 outer and 3 inner compartments that easily holds Rosita’s clothes and packing cubes. She purchased this about the same time that I bought the Osprey. I did not think Rosita would be able to pack for our 2 week trips in this size bag. But she however has surprised me and has used only this bag for our trips to Europe.

Canon EOS 80D Digital SLR Kit with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 is STM Lens (US Model, Black)

I recently purchased the Canon 80D with 18-135mm stabilized lens. If you click on the link above it will give you different configurations in case you want different or no lenses. I have an older Canon Rebel camera and was going to get the body only, but the older lenses aren’t stabilized. This is the camera that I have used to film our videos on our youtube channel. I purchased a 64 GB SD card to make sure I have room for videos. And it has a wifi connection and I even figured out how to download pictures wirelessly to my phone.

Bosca Men’s Executive Wallet in Old Leather – RFID

This is more than I usually pay for a wallet but I decided to give myself a Prime Day Present! The wallet I had for the previous 3 years is made of cloth and was starting to show a lot of wear. This wallet is made similar to the one I had but it is a major upgrade in material. I wanted an RFID blocking wallet and this one has that. I recently had my credit card information stolen and I want to do all I can to protect myself.

SPSHENG Valet Tray Jewelry Organizer,PU Leather Watch Box Coin Change Key Tray for Storage

I had a similar coin tray that I picked up while I was in Florence Italy. I bought it from one of the many street vendors in that city. I lost that one and then purchased this one. And it has really come in handy when I travel. It is a great place to put my keys, room card, wallet and coins. This one unsnaps so that it will lay flat in a suitcase and not take up much room. If you get a different one and want to use it for travel make sure you get one that snaps together. Some on Amazon are riveted together and do not come apart. And the ones with snaps will make it much easier to pack it in your luggage

American Weigh Scales AMW-LS-110 Digital Luggage Scale 110 by 0.2 LB

I recently purchases this portable scale. With the weight limits now on checked luggage I feel it is a necessity. I purchased one because when we travel, we always buy souvenirs, things we see we have to have and gifts for the grandkids. So now we no longer have to hold our breath at the airport when returning home, hoping that we didn’t go over the weight limit. This scale is very small and will fit in a small pocket of your luggage. Just remember to turn it off after weighing your bag.

Vetelli Hanging Toiletry Bag for Men – Dopp Kit/Travel Accessories Bag/Great Gift

This was a present from Rosita about a year ago. It works great for me. My electric razor fits in the largest pocket along with other items. Filled up, the bag rolls up quite nicely and fits easily into the Osprey. You can hang it up in your hotel room or just roll it out on the counter, like I do most of the time. This one looks good and I’m sure you will love it when you travel.

WAYFARER SUPPLY Hanging Toiletry Bag: Pack-it-flat Travel Kit, w Jewelry Organizer, Grey

Rosita is very happy with this toiletry bag. She loves that it can be hung up or it can sit on a counter top. The large middle section also has 4 smaller pockets that are perfect for tubes and flat shaped bottles. The larger section holds bottles of shampoo/conditioner, face cream, body lotion, deodorant and mouth wash in upright position. The longer mesh pocket in front of this one holds a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss. And the fold down cover has 2 zippered mesh pockets that hold smaller items such as a razor, eyelash curler, nail clippers, lip stick, mascara, small eye shadow container, bandaides, make up remover pads and eyeglass cleaner wipes. The back zip down compartment can hold necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and watches, but not pieces that are very large. Rosita has learned to travel lightly, and this bag is perfect for her.

Travelon Anti-theft Signature 3 Compartment Cross Body Bag, Smoke

Rosita likes the added feeling of security the antitheft features of slash resistant fabric and strap and 2 locking zippered compartments add to this cross body purse. And she says the name is misleading as it actually has 4 zippered compartments. The main locking center one where she stores her larger items such as a brush, wallet, phone, portable phone charger, earbuds, and even a bottle of water. This center section also has a small flashlight, RFID pockets and a small zippered pocket. She can even place small items that she purchases in this section. The top, front locking pocket is perfect for flat travel notebook, compact, travel disposable size moist wipes and sanitizing wipes. The front shorter contoured pocket is nice for quick access of items such as travel size hand sanitizer, tissues, sun glasses with case and cleaner, sun screen and coin purse (for those bathrooms that charge for use). Rosita uses the back zippered outside pocket for easy access to her iPad. She says this bag wears very comfortably as a cross body purse. And she loves this smoke/plum color choice.

Audio-Technica ATH-ANC23 QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphone

Rosita and I both use these headphones for the long Atlantic flights. Some type of noise canceling ear buds or headphones are a great help for these long flights. I had used over the ear headphones for years for flying. I bought these to minimize packing space and the quality of sound and noise cancelling ability really surprised me. And they help up travel light as we do a lot of train travel while in Europe.

Travelon Set of 3 Lightweight Packing Organizers, Bolds

Rosita loves the Travelon packing cubes . Her suggestion is to get a set of different sizes to find out which size works best for you. She moves the packed cubes from suitcase to drawers and says they keep her clothes organized and are a great time saver.

Sunpak TravelLite Pro Reverse Folding 63′ Tripod Black with red accents

This is the tripod we use to shoot our youtube videos. It is lightweight and fits easily in my suitcase. It easily support the weight of my Canon 80D while shooting our videos.

MOSISO Women Laptop Tote Bag (Up to 15.6 Inch) 3 Layer Compartments, Space Gray

Rosita recently acquired this bag to use to carry her laptop when we travel. It is very roomy and she packs all of her reading material and other things she needs while we travel. she uses this as her carryon and her Trevelon purse as her personal item.
